The competition will take place on the www.ricola.com website and is organized by Ricola Schweiz AG, Baselstrasse 31, 4242 Laufen, Switzerland (“Ricola”).
By entering the competition, you accept the following terms of participation.
The winner(s) will be chosen at random from among all the entrants at the end of the summer season. Decisions concerning the selection of the winner(s) are at the sole discretion of Ricola. The winner(s) will receive a hamper containing a variety of Ricola products.
The names of entrants and winners will not be published.
NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS, DATA PROTECTION AND DISPATCH OF PRIZES
After the competition has ended, the winner(s) will be notified by email and asked to provide their postal address. Each entrant is responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide. After being contacted, the winner(s) has/have three days in which to respond and accept the prize. If they do not respond, a new winner will be selected.
The prize will be sent within 5–10 working days after the winner has provided their postal address. It will either be sent directly by Ricola or via a third-party provider (logistics company).
The right to a prize cannot be transferred, and no cash payment or alternative prize is available. If, for reasons attributable to the winner(s) (e.g. provision of an incorrect postal address), it is not possible to deliver the prize within 15 working days of the draw, the entitlement to the prize will lapse.
Ricola will not be liable for delayed receipt of the prize by the winner(s) or for the loss of the prize in the postal system.
The competition is open to anyone aged 18 and over. Employees of the Ricola Group in Switzerland, as well as all persons involved in the design and implementation of the competition, are excluded from entering. Partners and other family members sharing a residence with said persons are likewise excluded.
Participation is free of charge and does not require any purchase of goods or services or subscription to a newsletter.
The entrant is responsible for transmission costs incurred based on the mobile network or internet provider tariff selected by the entrant.
Ricola reserves the right to exclude individual persons from participation where legitimate reasons exist, such as a breach of the terms of participation and particularly in the case of multiple entries, (attempted) manipulation, etc., and may take legal measures.
Entrants will not be entitled to make any claims against Ricola as a result of exclusion where legitimate reasons for exclusion exist; in particular, the entrant will not be entitled to compensation for expenses or time invested.
This competition is governed by Swiss law excluding Swiss conflict of laws provisions.
Upon sending the prize, Ricola is released from all obligations arising from the competition.
Ricola is legally liable for personal injury (fatalities, physical injuries or damage to health), in accordance with an express guarantee or in accordance with product liability in case of gross negligence or willful misconduct, or negligent misrepresentation.
Ricola’s liability arising from a breach of significant contractual obligations as a result of ordinary negligence is limited to typically foreseeable damages.
In all other respects, Ricola’s contractual and non-contractual liability is excluded.
TERMINATION OF THE COMPETITION
Ricola reserves the right to cancel, end or suspend the competition with good cause. In particular, this right may be exercised if, for technical or legal reasons, it is no longer possible to guarantee the correct execution of the competition.
In the event of lawful termination, no claims may be made against Ricola.
The judges’ decision is final.
