1 steam bath

A handful

Dried herbs, e.g. sage, elderflower, chamomile, thyme

A few drops

Essential oils (optional), e.g. thyme

Boiling water

Equipment

  • Towel

1. Mix the dried herbs in a large bowl and add 3–5 drops of essential oils if desired.

2. Pour boiling water over the mixture and place the bowl on a table.

3. Place the towel over your head and enjoy the soothing herbal steam for 5 – 10 minutes. The process is both relaxing in the cold weather and also good for your skin.
