Apple Mint

Etymology

The name of this herb comes from its fruity taste. Apple mint is also known as woolly mint. The Latin name, mentha x villosa, refers to the fact that apple mint is a hybrid derived from green mint and round-leafed mint.

Recipe

A refreshing apple mint drink

Grate a couple of apple mint stems, immerse in 1 L of water and 1 L of apple juice and leave overnight. The next day, replace the herbs with new ones, cool and serve with slices of lemon.
