Non-medicinal ingredients: Isomalt, sorbitol, citric acid, aspartame, chlorophyll, crisped mint oil, extract of green tea.
Recommended use or purpose: For the temporary relief of coughs and sore throat.
Recommended dose: (Adults and children over 12 years of age): 1– 5 lozenges daily.
Direction of use: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 1–2 hours up to a maximum of 5 lozenges per day.
Cautions and warnings:
- If symptoms are severe or persist for more than 2 days consult a doctor.
- If cough worsens, persists for more than 7 days or is accompanied by high fever consult a doctor.
Contraindications: Do not use during pregnancy or breast feeding. Do not purchase if package is open.
Polyols (polyhydric alcohols)
This product contains polyols such as isomalt and sorbitol. Excessive consumption may have a laxative effect.
Aspartame
This product contains a source of phenylalanine in the form of aspartame and is therefore not suitable for persons suffering from the hereditary disease phenylketonuria.
Gluten
All Ricola products are considered gluten free according to Health Canada regulations and are therefore suited for persons with gluten intolerance.
Lactose
All Ricola products are considered lactose free according to Health Canada regulations and are suitable for persons with lactose intolerance.
