Ricola is looking for the world’s greatest Grandma

Next year, Ricola will be celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Ricola original herb drop and would like to give all grandchildren the chance to say thank you to their Grandma. After all, many of us were introduced to Ricola by our Grandma. As part of the “Greatest Grandma” campaign, everyone will have the opportunity to nominate their Grandma as the best in the world on the Ricola Facebook page.

Many consumers got to know Ricola through their Grandma. Grandmas always have a Ricola to hand for their grandchildren at just the right time to help them feel better. The anecdotes and stories abound are various, and a good reason for Ricola to give appreciation back to these Grandmas. But much more than that, they give us comfort and support, spoiling us in the loving and tender way that only a Grandma can. We enjoy their attention, their affection, their love, and their warmth. We listen closely to their stories about the past, and try to follow their good advice. Who doesn’t like to reflect on the warmth with which our Grandmas support and care for us, however we may be feeling? They deserve our appreciation, and grandchildren can now use the Ricola Facebook page to present their world’s greatest Grandma.

Winning the title
Anyone who wants to nominate their Grandma as the world’s greatest should upload an eye-catching photo together or an amusing snapshot of their Grandma to the Ricola Facebook page and write a short story about why their Grandma is the best in the world. One Grandma will be selected at random as the winner every week, and every month, a “Grandma of the Month” will be chosen by a jury at Ricola. All winners will receive a surprise package full of delicious Ricola treats.
